To apply for the programme, you should have proficiency in statistics and probability or linear algebra. If you haven’t had numerate experience since the age of 16, you must take prerequisite courses in linear algebra or statistics to fulfil this requirement. While not a requirement, we also recommend that you have some proficiency in programming.
Courses that cover these proficiencies can be found on edX and the majority of them are free to audit. However, if you want to demonstrate your competency in a particular area, you may wish to pursue the verified track of that course, which comes with an enrollment fee, graded feedback, and the opportunity to receive a verified certificate of completion.
